What I photograph
Real people. Useful photographs.
The work changes—from one face to a full room—but the approach stays consistent: light direction, close attention, and color that still feels true.
The Ardani approach
“A little direction. Nothing forced.”
I help when the camera feels unfamiliar, then pay attention to what happens between the planned frames.

Local by design
Richmond energy. Chester ease.
Your location should support the photograph, not compete with it. We can work where you already feel at home or choose a setting around the job.
01 / Richmond
City, studio, or workplace
Headshots, portraits, and event coverage throughout Richmond. We can build the look around a clean office, a controlled studio, or a city setting with the right amount of texture.
02 / Chester + Chesterfield
Closer to home
Portraits, headshots, and events at homes, workplaces, venues, and practical outdoor settings across Chester and Chesterfield County.
Simple on purpose
From hello to finished frames.
01
Tell me the purpose
The people, place, timing, and what the images need to accomplish.
02
Plan what matters
We align on location, schedule, visual feel, deliverables, and usage.
03
Make room for real
I direct clearly when it helps and watch closely when the moment takes over.

Behind Ardani
Photographed by David. Built around people.
I am drawn to the split second when someone stops managing the camera and becomes present again. Ardani Photography is the next chapter of David Paul Media: a clearer name for portraits, headshots, and events made with an organic point of view.
The journal
Helpful before photogenic.
Good questions
Before you write.
01What if I am uncomfortable in front of a camera?
That is normal. I give clear direction for posture, expression, and movement, then keep photographing when the pose starts to feel like you.
02Where do you work?
Richmond, Chester, and Chesterfield County are the core service area. Nearby Central Virginia projects are quoted around the location, schedule, and travel required.
03Do you photograph teams and business events?
Yes. Team headshots and business-event coverage are planned around scheduling, a consistent visual approach, and how the finished images need to be used.
04How does booking work?
Send the people, place, date, and purpose. You will receive availability and a written quote that defines coverage, deliverables, usage, and timing before you book.
Your move
Tell me what needs a frame.
Share the people, place, date, and purpose. The next step should be clear, not a mystery sales funnel.
